What are Digital Downloads?
These are high resolution (really nice) files that you download and save from our website and use on your computer with image editing software (computer programs)like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements or Corel Paint Shop Pro or Microsoft Word! You can use these files to create your own custom scrapbook pages or greeting cards, personalize photos, or make any kind of project you can imagine!
River City Rubber Works' digital downloadable files range from a single image or a set of images (like images we use for rubber stamps), background papers, project templates, or books containing various projects and instructions! Browse through and see!
FILE TYPES/FORMATS Each image comes to you
as a zip file containing high resolution, 300 dpi versions of the image in any
or all of the file types below:
.jpg files have a white background and are good for printing
.png files have a transparent background for digital & web images
.abr files are custom brush files made with the included images
All of these file types can be used the image editing software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements or Corel Paint Shop Pro or Microsoft Word!
PRINTING Your projects using these files can be printed out or used on webpages! They can be used in "hybrid" scrapbooking where part of the page is computer generated and part of it is crafted by hand.
Unlike traditional cards and scrapbook pages, you have the ability to save these projects on your computer, burn them to CDs, or print out as many copies as you wish! You can upload your projects to online printers or photo book makers, like MyPublisher.com to create your own coffee table books! They make fabulous gifts! (We know this from personal experience.)
BENEFITS One great thing about downloads is instant gratification! You get them as soon as they are paid for, and you can manipulate (change or mangle) them on your computer! They can be resized, and you can add or change colors! They can be combined with other elements including your own photos! It all depends on your level of skill and bravery.
